As i write this it sure feels like summer is well and truly over! Its raining constantly today and very dreary.
This month has been another rollercoaster thats for sure! I hope most of you managed to get some sort of break this month especially those with children. My son is due back to secondary school next week and although i am worried for him i am also pleased that he gets back to some sort of routine and being amongst his friends.
We started the month off seeing out the end of our summer stock and launched our sale. Its been very busy and i hope you all managed to get a bargain or two :) The shop has now been transformed with no sign of summer and all the new Autumn stock in place. I must admit i just love the chunky knits and jumpers and cosy coats! We are full to the brim with new stuff and it looks great. The summer sale still continues online but we just dont have the room for both in the shop so if you see something you like and want to try on please say.
We have launched our appointment system this month where you can book a free 45 minute session and have the shop to yourself. As we reduced our shop hours to 3pm closing we felt it may be that people are just not comfortable shopping anymore around others so this way you can have the shop all to yourself or bring up to 3 other people with you. We are flexible with times and the changing rooms will be open. In light of this we will also be hosting a Autumn Winter Launch night on Friday 11th September 3pm until late where we will have our stylist Sarah Gray on hand to advise on this seasons new looks. Book your appointment for you and your friends on our website and make a evening of it..just like old times :) (Social distancing and covid regulations will still be in place)
Two fantastic new brands have dropped into the shop this month that ive been dying to show you.....
Woden are a Danish sneaker brand with respect for the environment and their surroundings, WODEN takes a sustainable approach: REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE. They have therefore replaced as many synthetic materials as possible with materials such as fish leather as the WODEN DNA, a minimum of 10% recycled rubber in our outsoles and eco-friendly cork insoles in all our shoes.
B.Young is another danish brand we have chosen to stock.The b.young woman has a lot of things going on. She is mixing her everyday life with family, career and going out with friends. She is conscious of her appearance and she follow the trends without compromising on quality and comfort. The collections give her an opportunity to mix feminine and cool styles. She wants to get inspired and she keeps herself updated on social media.
Finally i want to thank you for all your support over the past few months, its been tough but we couldn't have got where we are now without you. Lets hope we can all continue to push forward in these strange times.
